‘BRUCIATE’ DALLA PSNI 80.000 STERLINE NEI RIOTS DI RATHCOOLE
BBC pubblica la nota spese della PSNI in relazione alla 2 giorni di riots a Newtownabbey il 25 e il 26 ottobre scorso
A poco più di un mese dai disordini che hanno scosso Rathcoole per 2 notti consecutivE (25 e 26 ottobre 2010), BBC rende noto il ‘bollettino finanziario’ a carico della polizia.
Attaccati agenti del Police Service of Northern Ireland, e dati alle fiamme autobus e automobili. Danni quantificati in 78,910 sterline. Decisamente conto più salato per Translink costretta a sospendere temporaneamente i servizi in zona, dopo il danneggiamento dei suoi automezzi costati all’azienda 400.000 sterline.
Le violenze era scoppiate in risposta ad una vasta operazione della PSNI in ambito UVF.
