RILASCIO ‘INCONDIZIONATO’ DI DUE SOSPETTATI DELL’OMICIDIO KERR

Rilasciati senza alcuna imputazione due uomini sospetti di avere giocato un ruolo nell’omicidio del giovane agente della PSNI, Ronan Kerr
Rilascio ‘incondizionato’ per due uomini arrestati in connessione alla booby trap bomb a Omagh, che il 2 aprile scorso aveva strappato la vita a Ronan Kerr. Il ragazzo, cattolico, era entrato a far parte delle forze di polizia da sole 3 settimane.
Brian Carron, 26 anni, di Dungannon, era stato arrestato a Renton, West Dunbartonshire, quattro giorni dopo l’attentato.
Sean McKiernan, 40 anni, di Omagh, era stato arrestato il 7 aprile.
Entrambi sono stati rilasciati oggi. Un altro uomo di 33 anni resta in stato di fermo.

Two men arrested in connection with the murder of Constable Ronan Kerr have been released “unconditionally”.
Constable Kerr was killed by a bomb under his car outside his Omagh home on Saturday 2 April.
Brian Carron, 26, from the Dungannon area, was arrested in Renton, West Dunbartonshire, four days later.
Sean McKiernan, 40, of Omagh, was arrested on 7 April. Both were released on Tuesday. A 33-year-old remains in custody.
Mr Kerr’s funeral witnessed unprecedented scenes – with police officers and members of the Gaelic Athletic Association uniting in his memory, as well as politicians from across all the main Northern Ireland parties.
