Il movimento repubblicano ha improvvisato una manifestazione per protestare contro il tentativo di censura subita dal Derry News

Comunicato del Derry 32 CSM

Una protesta improvvisata si è tenuta martedì 17 gennaio presso gli uffici della testata giornlastica “Derry News”.
La protesta è nata in seguito alla pubblicazione di un articolo con il quale il giornale ha stroncato il 32CSM dichiarando che nessuno del 32 County Sovereignty Movement si era disponibile a commentare it. Questa è stata una loro totale invenzione ed è stata da noi interpretata come una manovra deliberata per ingannare i loro lettori sul fatto che siamo stati restii a rispondere quando in realtà non siamo mai stati contattati.
La redazione si è confrontata ed ha dichiarato di aver un solo numero di telefono e di aver inoltrato chiamate ma senza essere riuscita a ricevere risposta.Essi (membri della redazione, ndr) non avevano il numero a portata di mano quando gli è stato chiesto di quale numero si trattasse, e che avevano provveduto a chiamare e avevano dichiarato che si trattava del numero di uno dei singoli membri (del movimento repubblicano, ndr), ma non lo hanno mai chiamato. I contatti quali numeri di telefono e indirizzi e-mail sono facilmente reperibili sui siti internet anche se non sono mai stati utilizzati.
Questa protesta è stata indetta come una risposta diretta a quanto è stato visto come un tentativo di raggirare il 32CSM con inganno e indurre in errore l’opinione pubblica in generale.

Statement from Derry 32csm

An impromptu protest was held on Tuesday 17th January at the offices of the “Derry News” newspaper.
The protest came about following the publication of an article slating the 32csm in which the newpaper stated that nobody from the 32 County Sovereignty Movement was available to comment on it.This was a total fabrication on their behalf and interpreted by us as a deliberate ploy to mislead their readership that we were loathe to respond when we were never in fact contacted.
The editorial staff were confronted and stated that they only had 1 phone number and had called it but couldn’t get through.They hadn’t the number to hand when asked what number they had called and stated it was an individual member’s number but have never called him.Contact numbers & email addresses are readily available on the internet websites yet hadn’t been used.
This protest was called as a direct response to what we saw as an attempt to sleight the 32csm by guile and mislead the General public.
