BELFAST. PICCHETTO DELL’IRPWA CONTRO L’INTERNAMENTO
Anti Internment Whiteline Picket , Falls road, Belfast (IRPWA)
Between 150 and 200 people took part in the Whiteline picket which took place beside the International wall, Falls road, Belfast.
The assemblage included former Blanketmen/H Block POWs , female POWs from Armagh gaol, Past Internees, former Maghaberry POWs and Internees, families and activists from across Ireland, Scotland & England.
The picket was watched on by RUC/PSNI, both in jeeps and a helicopter which hovered overhead.
The IRPWA would like to thank all those who took the line demanding an end to Internment on a particularly cold day.
