TENSIONI E SCONTRI PER IL TRICOLORE A BLACK MOUNTAIN

Man hurt in Black Mountain flag clash (BBC News Northern Ireland)
The incident happened after a tricolour was erected on the mountain
One man has been taken to hospital after being injured in a disturbance on Black Mountain in west Belfast.
It happened at about 18:00 BST on Tuesday. A large Irish Tricolour had earlier been put up on the mountain.
Republicans have said the man who was injured was “guarding” the flag which they said protested the Queen’s visit.
A small crowd of loyalists had gathered at the Ballygomartin Road some distance away.
A police land rover was also in attendance and the PSNI helicopter circled overhead.
The police have said they are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with community representatives.
They said the area was now calm but tense.
A message that accompanied the flag was removed and used to repair the flag.
