A prosecution barrister has withdrawn public order offences against dissident republican Gary Donnelly.
The 40-year-old had denied assaulting police officers at William Street in February.
A prosecution barrister told Londonderry magistrates’ court that recordings of the incident were still outstanding.
She said the case against Mr Donnelly, of Kildrum Gardens, could proceed by way of a police summons.
