Reazione di condanna alla revoca della licenza di libertà di Marian Price, un provvedimento firmato dal Segretario di Stato per in Nord Irlanda, Owen Paterson

Il Vice Presidente della Commissione Giustizia Raymond McCartney (Sinn Fein MLA) ha condannato la mossa del Segretario di Stato britannico, Owen Patterson, di revocare la licenza di Marian Price.
Parlando di questa sera McCarteney ha dichiarato: “Marian Price ha diritto a un giusto processo e la revoca della sua licenza è del tutto inaccettabile.
La mossa di Owen Patterson ammonta a detenzione senza processo, questo è contrario al naturale corso della giustizia. Il sistema giudiziario deve essere basato sulla tutela dei diritti umani, la revoca della licenza di Marian Price ne è in contrasto.
Abbiamo già sollevato le nostre preoccupazioni su questo tema presso il Segretario di Stato britannico e faremo lo stesso con il Ministro della Giustizia, dato che si tratta di  una questione urgente”.

Sinn Féin comment on Marian Price case
Sinn Féin deputy Chair of the Justice Committee Raymond McCartney MLA has condemned the move by the British Secretary of State Owen Patterson to revoke the licence of Marian Price.
Speaking this evening Mr McCartney said;
“Marian Price is entitled to due process and the revoking of her licence is completely unacceptable.
The move by Owen Patterson amounts to detention without trial; this runs contrary to natural justice. The justice system needs to be based on human rights protection; the revoking of Marian Price’s licence runs contrary to that.
We have already raised our concerns on this issue with the British Secretary of State and will do the same with the Justice Minister as a matter of urgency.” CRÍOCH
