Arrestato un quarantaduenne

Un uomo di 42 anni è stato arrestato sabato 7 agosto, nell’ambito delle indagini sul taxi-bomba esplosa alle 3.2o di martedì.
200 libre di esplosivo destinate alla stazione della PSNI in Strand Road che ha riportato danni minori rispetto ai locali delle attività commerciali dell’area sventrati dall’esplosione ed ora a rischio demolizione.
L’attentato è stato rivendicato dall’organizzazione repubblicana Oglaigh na hEireann.

Man arrested over Derry car bomb (U TV)
A man has been arrested in connection with the car bomb attack at Strand Road police station in Londonderry.
The 42 year-old was detained in the Derry area on Saturday morning.
A 200lb bomb exploded outside the base during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Several businesses in the area were destroyed.
A dissident republican organisation calling itself Óglaigh na hÉireann said it was behind the attack.
