Due distinti incendi hanno danneggiato il mural in memoria di Kieran Doherty sul retro del Free Derry Corner

Due incendi nella notte di venerdì, hanno arrecato seri danni al mural voluto dalla famiglia di Kieran Doherty, la quale aveva apposto fotografie del proprio congiunto sul retro del Free Derry Corner, dell’omonima città.
Il corpo di Kieran Doherty era stato ritrovato nudo e legato, nei pressi del confine irlandese in Braehead Road, alla periferia di Derry.
Sempre nella serata di venerdì, 2 petrol bombs sono state lanciate contro due abitazioni nell’area di West End Park, causando numerosi danni.

Real IRA victim mural damaged (NewsLetter)
A mural to a Real IRA victim on the back of Free Derry Wall has been damaged in two separate overnight fires.
Pictures of Kieran Doherty, who was murdered by the Real IRA, and his family had been placed on the back of the wall.
The fire service was called to the scene on Friday night.
Mr Doherty’s body was found on the outskirts of Londonderry in February.
The 31-year-old was found naked and bound on the Braehead Road near the Irish border.
