Teenage shooting victim still critical (Belfast NewsLetter)
A teenager who was shot in north Belfast on Tuesday night, remains in a critical condition in hospital.
In a statement on Wednesday evening, police made a fresh appeal for information into the shooting of the 18-year-old male which happened in Ardoyne Avenue at around 8.30pm.
The victim sustained injuries to the thigh and buttock areas.
A 39-year-old man arrested on Wednesday morning is still being held by police.
“Police want to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious, particularly the movements of vehicles, around the Flax Centre off Ardoyne Avenue between 8-9pm last night to contact them on 0845 600 8000,” a PSNI spokesperson said.
