Unionist Forum ‘is a waste of time’ (NewsLetter)
Three-quarters of people who took part in a News Letter poll think the Unionist Forum is a “waste of time”.
Readers cast their votes during our live webchat yesterday with leading east Belfast community worker Jim Wilson. When asked whether the Forum, which met for the first time last week and features members of the main unionist parties as well as former leading member of the UDA Jackie McDonald, could present a “solution” to the ongoing flags crisis, just 25 per cent of people said they agreed, with the rest saying it was “a waste of time”.
