McCord to meet Robinson over UVF (UTV)
Victims campaigner Raymond McCord is calling on the First Minister to stop all funding to UVF linked groups while attacks continue.
Mr McCord, whose son was murdered by the UVF, was speaking ahead of a meeting with Peter Robinson on Wednesday.
He said young men are being forced to leave Northern Ireland because of paramilitaries.
“There are ongoing attacks by the UVF on Protestant people,” Mr McCord told UTV.
“People are having to leave their homes, leave the country. We are saying to Peter Robinson to stop the funding to UVF projects.
“We’ve young lads having to live in England and Scotland – this can’t go on, some young lad is going to be killed.”
Lily Kelly is also attending the meeting.
She alleges the UVF was behind the brutal attack on her 23-year-old son James on the Shankill Road in Belfast last weekend.
