Un ragazzo di 24 anni è stato ferito con un colpo di arma da fuoco alla sua gamba destra mentre si trovava nella sua camera da letto

L’attentato è avvenuto poco dopo le 22 di ieri sera (martedì).
Due uomini mascherati si sono introdotti in una casa in Cable Street (Bogside) a Derry.
Stando alle dichiarazioni rilasciati da un portavoce della PSNI: “Un uomo è salito al piano superiore ed è entrato nella camera di fronte e ha sparato alcuni colpi, ma nessuno ha colpito la vittima”.
“Un secondo uomo mascherato è entrato nella camera da letto della vittima, sparando una sola volta nella parte posteriore della gamba destra”.
Gli uomini sono poi fuggiti dalla porta posteriore dell’abitazione.
Il ragazzo ventiquatrenne è stato successivamente trasportato in ospedale dove la ferita non è stata giudicata grave.

Sempre a Derry, ma questa volta nella periferia, è stato lanciato uno stato di allerta dopo il ritrovamento di un oggetto sospetto.
Una portavoce della PSNI afferma il traffico è stato deviato all’incrocio di Springtown Road e Groarty Road dopo che l’oggetto è stato scoperto in un furgone.
L’area è stata cordonata.

Man shot in Bogside (Derry Journal)
A 24-year-old man has been shot in the Bogside area of Derry.
Police say the 24-year-old was shot in the leg after a number of masked men entered a house at Cable Street shortly after 10pm last night ( Tuesday).
“One male went upstairs to a front bedroom and fired a number of shots, however none struck the victim, ” a PSNI spokeswoman said.
“A second masked male then entered the bedroom shooting the victim once in the back of his right leg.
“The males then ran from the house via the back door.”
The victim was taken to hospital where his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Suspicious object found in Derry (Derry Journal)
A suspicious object has been found on the outskirts of Derry.
A PSNI spokeswoman says traffic is being diverted away from the junction of Springtown Road and Groarty Road after the object was discovered in a van.
Cordons are in place.
