Lurgan hospital attack: Petrol bomb thrown as emergency services respond (BBC News NI)
A petrol bomb was thrown at a police car in the grounds of a County Armagh hospital on Wednesday night.
Police have said there is an ongoing problem of anti-social behaviour at Lurgan Hospital.
In the latest incident, a plastic traffic barrier was set alight by youths and the petrol bomb thrown at a police car sent to the scene.
It did not hit the car. The youths ran off and five more petrol bombs were found in the area.
“This is unacceptable. Unacceptable that young people in our community think they have a right to damage property and unacceptable that they believe they have a right to attack police,” Ch Insp Paul Reid said.
“When we are made aware of antisocial behaviour we can attend immediately and this is why it is so important that the public contact us as soon as they become aware of antisocial or criminal behaviour in their area.”
