Republican prisoners have recently been made aware of plans made by Maghaberry administration to downgrade our already unacceptable visiting arrangements. This is undoubtedly an effort to distract us from our campaign at a time when the gaol administration is receiving intensifying criticism for the refusal to move on the 3 core issues.
Roe 4 Republican prisoners have raised this issue with the gaol administration, Prison Ombudsman, TD’s and the SDLP. We have made our position clear; under no circumstances will we accept this downgrade. Furthermore, we will resist by all means any such attacks on us or our families.
