Pipe bomb explodes in Londonderry (Belfast Telegraph)
A pipe bomb has exploded in Londonderry, police have said.
The device went off in the Bond Street area during the early hours of Wednesday.
A PSNI spokeswoman said army bomb experts had been called to the scene and were preparing a report on the incident.
She said a motive for the attack was being investigated.
Police have also appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
