IL SOSTEGNO DELL’ULSTER PEOPLE’S FORUM A WILLIE FRAZER
Ulster People’s Forum statement about the attack against William Frazer (Facebook)
The Ulster people’s forum unreservedly condemn the attempted murder of committee member William Frazer and his family.
This attack on his family home was nothing more and nothing less than an attempt to take life and luckily for William a security door prevented the entire house from catching fire.
Jamie Bryson from the UPF said ‘this attack by Republicans shows us the farce of a peace process we have. I do hope Gerry Adams, Gerry Kelly and the rest take themselves down to South Armagh and see a real victim of an intimidation and a murder campaign. They were quick to parade around the Short Strand and present antagonists as victims. I suspect however that William would rather they didn’t visit him.’
‘The UPF have been clear that politics is the way forward by peaceful means, to facilitate this and to allow a just and fair peace the PSNI must show themselves capable of protecting the Protestant people. On this occasion PSNI raised the alarm with William which prevented almost certain fatalities.
Whilst we re-affirm our position of political and peaceful activism we wish to make clear that if attacked we fully support the right of the Protestant people to defend themselves’
‘The UPF will continue to support the peaceful protests and we will not be bought, bullied or intimidated by the IRA, the Real IRA, the I can’t believe it’s not the IRA or any other flag of convenience used by the republican terrorist movement. We stand in solidarity with William Frazer and his entire family circle and urge all the Protestant people across ulster to do the same’ SR
