DERRY. ESPLOSA PIPE BOMB NELLA NOTTE
A pipe bomb has exploded outside a house in Londonderry.
The device exploded outside a house in Heron Way shortly after 1am on Friday.
A number of homes were evacuated and the area was cordoned off while army bomb experts were deployed to the scene.
No one was in the house at the time of the incident and no one has been injured.
The area is currently still cordoned off by PSNI.
Police are appealing for witnesses and have asked anyone in the area between midnight and 1.10 on Friday morning or anyone who noticed any suspicious activity to contact detectives at Strand station.
