The Orange Order has condemned overnight attacks on two of its halls.
Paint bombs were thrown at Clifton Street Orange Hall in north Belfast and one on Glenavy’s Main Street.
Commenting on the Clifton Street attack, Belfast County Grand Master, Tom Haire, blamed republicans for attempting to raise tensions.
A spokesman for the Glenavy District, described the attack on the village’s hall as “downright despicable”.
Police said the Clifton Street attack happened between 01:00 BST and 01:20 BST on Tuesday.
Sinn Fein Deputy Mayor of Belfast Tierna Cunningham said: “These kinds of incidents serve absolutely no purpose other than to increase tensions for residents in the north of the city.”
