Update on POWs : It is being confirmed by Republican POWs in Maghaberry prison, that Harry Fitzsimons has received a severe beating by the riot squad.
They went into his cell this morning, holding their hands over his mouth and nose to stop his breathing, punching his face until they broke his glasses cutting his face and leaving him with a suspected broken nose.
Another POW said he’s unrecognisable, having a suspected broken wrist and broken ribs due to the severe punching to his body.The screws then brutally ripped every stitch of clothing off his body, then got on top of him and beat him as he screamed out in pain.
The other POWs said they didnt even recognise the voice. other updates will follow.
Following the recent developments in the gaol we would encourage as many as possible to try and attend this protest next Sunday 5th June.
The POWs are being severely beaten on a daily basis by sectarian screws in Maghaberry gaol and the media are complicit with their silence.

Le autorità giudiziare di Maghaberry avevano la scorsa settimana optato per la restrizione al diritto di associazione dei prigionieri repubblicani. Sulla base del Rule 32 erano state decise 72 ore di “lockdown” (prigionieri costretti nelle loro celle per 24 ore/24 ore), un provvedimento estendibile fino a 28 giorni.

Sent attorney gearenl John Larkin an e-mail last week asking him to intervene in Marians case in his role of protector of human rights,to date not even an acknowledgement,this is something one would expect from a man from a unionist background ,but Larkin is a neighbour of Marians from Andytown,then as a castle catholic can we expect him to care about human rights for a taig, after all Barraboy millions Mcgrory has showed him that once a castle catholic reaches the top then a right angle change in social direction is required if one is to be accepted by the ruling elite .it looks like someone from outside norn iorn such as a doctor acting as a special rapporteur acting on behalf of the united nations may be the person to finally get Marian freed from Pattersons grip,and not the man appointed to protect her human rights.
