Rientrato l’allarma ad Anderstown

Nulla è stato trovato all’interno del transit rosso al centro dell’allarme bomba lanciato alle ore 16 in Navan Green ad Anderstown. Lo stato di allerta si è chiuso con un’esplosione controllata.
Gli sfollati da 20 abitazioni hanno potuto fare ritorno alle loro dimore.
La PSNI ritiene che il furgone rubato possa essere stato utilizzato per attività criminose in città.

A suspicious vehicle is at the centre of a security alert in west Belfast, according to police.
A controlled explosion has been carried out on a suspicious vehicle at the centre of a security alert in west Belfast, police have said.
Nothing untoward was found during the examination of a red transit van at Navan Green in Andersontown.
At least 20 homes were evacuated during the alert which began around 4pm on Saturday.
Police believe the vehicle which was stolen may have been involved in criminal activity in Belfast.
Residents are being allowed to return to their homes.
