Esplosa pipe bomb nei pressi dell’abitazione di un ufficiale della PSNI

Nuovamente un uomo del Police Service of Northern Ireland minacciato da un attacco intimidatorio.
Una pipe bomb è stata lanciata all’esterno della casa di un ufficiale della PSNI. L’attacco è avvenuto a Newry, alle 22.35 di ieri sera.
L’uomo aveva udito un rumore nei pressi della finestra e stava uscendo per rassicurarsi della situazione, quando l’ordigno è esploso.
Nessun ferito, solo i vetri rotti della finestra e lievi danni ad una parete.
L’ordigno è attualmente sottoposto ad indagine.

A pipe bomb has exploded outside the family home of a police officer in Newry.
The device was thrown at the house of the Catholic family at about 2235 BST on Monday night.
A man inside the house heard a noise at a front window and was on his way outside to investigate when the device exploded.
The window was blown in and minor damage was caused to a wall. No-one was hurt.
A police spokeswoman said the device was removed for examination.
