Un gruppo di giovani si è adoperato in lancio di moltov dall’area New Mossley Estate verso Ballyclare Road alle 22 circa di ieri 6 aprile.
Il sindaco John Scott ha espresso rammarico per il passo indietro che è stato compiuto la scorsa notte: “Negli ultimi tempi è stato fatto un ottimo lavoro nell’area residenziale- ma nelle ultime settimane vi è stata un po’ di tensione ed e’ un peccato ciò che stia accadendo”.
Parlando dell’attività della polizia in connessione con le comunità locali, ha aggiunto: “È solo un peccato annullare tutto il lavoro che è stato fatto. So che la gente di New Mossley non vorrebbe essere collegato a questo.”

Mayor John Scott has said that trouble has been brewing in the estate in recent weeks.
“Of late there has been a lot of good work going on in the estate – but for the last few weeks there has been a bit of tension and it’s unfortunate what’s happening.”
Mr Scott said that police had been working closely with local community groups.
“It’s just a shame to undo all the work that’s been done. I know that the people of New Mossley wouldn’t want to be connected with this.”
