Tre uomini accusati di un attentato dinamitardo contro un’abitazione di Larne, avvenuto 7 anni fa

I tre accusati, rispettivamente di 32, 40,  62 anni e tutti residenti a Belfast, sono accusati di appartenenza all’Ulster Volunteer Force.
Essi sono accusati di cospirazione al fine di intimidire un testimone. Compariranno in tribunale mercoledì.
Gli uomini sono stati arrestati dagli investigatori ‘gravi crimini’ della PSNI, nell’ambito dell’Operation Ballast che riguarda le indagini su una serie di omicidi ed altri crimini correlati all’UVF nell’area di North Belfast.
La PSNI ha rilevato l’indagine dall’Historical Enquiries Team alla fine dello scorso anno.

Three men have been charged in connection with a pipe bomb attack on a house in Larne seven years ago.
The men aged, 62, 40 and 32, all from Belfast, are also charged with membership of the UVF.
They are also charged with conspiracy to intimidate a witness. They are expected to appear in court later on Wednesday.
The men were arrested by detectives from the PSNI’s serious crime branch as part of Operation Ballast.
A fourth man arrested at the same time has been released pending a report to the PPS.
Operation Ballast is an investigation into a series of murders and other crimes by the the UVF in north Belfast.
The PSNI took over the investigation from the Historical Enquiries Team at the end of last year.
