Sono state ritrovate 2 pipe bombs durante normali ricognizioni del PSNI nell’area di Ulsterville Drive a South Belfast.
Un portavoce della polizia ha parlato anche del recupero di una certa quantità di munizioni durante le operazioni della scorsa notte.
Tali ritrovamenti non si reputano comunque in connessione con gli ultimi attacchi a sfondo razzisto verificatesi nella zona.

Sempre oggi un attacco con pipe bombs (BBC News Northern Ireland) è stato messo a segno in Coronation Villas a Maghera nella contea di Derry. Danneggiate un’abitazione ed un’auto, ma ne restano al momento ignote le cause.

Two pipe bombs have been found during a planned police search of the Ulsterville Drive area in south Belfast. A police spokesman said a quantity of ammunition was also recovered during the operation on Wednesday night. Police say the find was not in connection with recent racist attacks on Romanians who lived in the area. The items, which were found in an alleyway, have been taken away for further examination.
