Due ufficiali del PSNI sono stati oggi condannati dalla Belfast Magistrates’ Court, a pagare un’ammenda di 250 sterline, perchè colpevoli di aver sparso dei rifiuti in un parcheggio pubblico nella contea di Antrim
Il fatto è avvenuto circa un anno fa quando Kim McKee e Donal Adams si fermarono per gustarsi un tè e un caffè mentre erano fuori servizio. I due hanno però negato di aver gettato dal finestrino sia la bustina del tè, che il bicchiere di cartone del latte.
Ulteriore ammenda di 100 sterline  inflitta ad Adams, per aver fumato una sigaretta sull’auto di servizio e per averne gettato il mozzicone dal finestrino.

Two PSNI constables fined for littering (Rté)
Two police officers in Northern Ireland, who stopped for a break at a public car park in Co Antrim while on duty, have been fined for littering.
The PSNI members, based at Newtownabbey, were prosecuted today over an incident at a public Car Park in Ballyclare which took place a year ago.
Fines of £250 each were imposed on Constables Kim McKee and Donal Adams at Belfast Magistrates’ Court.
Both acknowledged they had been at the car park drinking tea and coffee during a break while on duty.
But they denied a claim from a litter warden that a tea bag and a milk carton had been thrown from the police car they were in.
Constable Adams was given a further penalty of £100 for lighting a cigarette in a work vehicle before tossing the butt out of the window.
