The Five Demands

Peter Robinson e Martin McGuinness, rispettivamente Primo e Vice Primo Ministro dell’Irlanda del Nord, si sono schierati ieri contro il movimento dissidente repubblicano in occasione del 4° meeting del North South Ministerial Council (NSMC) a Farmleigh.
I due esponenti, spalla a spalla, hanno ribadito con fermezza che non cederanno alle intimidazioni dei dissidenti.
Martin McGuinness è stato irremovibile nell’affermare che nessuno di loro riuscirà a danneggiare il processo di pace: “Il conflitto è veramente finito, essi non otterranno successo.”

Northern Ireland First Minister Peter Robinson stood shoulder to shoulder with Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness in Dublin yesterday and said: “We’re not going to be bullied by dissidents.”
Martin McGuinness was just as adamant that militant rebels would not succeed in damaging the peace process when he declared: “The conflict is well and truly over, they (dissident Republicans) are not going to succeed.”
Mr Robinson and Mr McGuinness were attending the fourth meeting of the North South Ministerial Council (NSMC) at Farmleigh, hosted by the Foreign Affairs Minister Micheal Martin.
