L’ordigno è stato rinvenuto presso il centro di smistamento della Royal Mail sita in Tomb Street. Successivamente è stato rimosso dagli artificieri, che ne stanno procedendo all’esame.
Effettuata un’esplosione controllata, sempre nella giornata di oggi, in Ormeau Road, dopo il ritrovamento di un dispositivo sospetto.
L’allarme bomba di questa mattina in Artana Street, si è rivelata un falso.

The Ormeau Road in south Belfast has been closed off after the discovery of a suspicious object sparked a security alert.
A ‘viable device’ has been found during a security alert in Belfast, police have said.
The device which was found at the Royal Mail sorting office at Tomb Street has been removed for forensic examination.
Meanwhile, the army carried out a controlled explosion during a security alert in south Belfast.
The Ormeau Road in south Belfast was closed after the discovery of a suspicious object.
Police examining the item, which was located at Artana Street on Thursday morning said the alert was a hoax.
