Sette uomini ed una donna arrestati in un’operazione contro i dissidenti

Perquisizioni ed arresti nell’ambito delle operazioni atte ad arginare l’attività dissidente al nord. Gli arresti di sette uomini di età compresa tra i 18 ed i 45 anni ed una ragazza di 23 anni  e un quantitativo considerevole di munizioni, sono il bottino di operazioni delle forze di sicurezza che hanno avuto luogo  a Belfast, Dunmurry e Newtownabbey.
I sospetti sono attualmente detenuti e sottoposti ad interrogatori presso la sezione crimini di Antrim.

Eight arrests in city dissident probe (U TV)
Eight people have been arrested and a large amount of ammunition has been seized by police investigating dissident activity in Belfast.
The seven men and one woman were detained following searches at properties in north and west Belfast, Dunmurry and Newtownabbey on Wednesday morning.
Serious Crime Branch officers also uncovered a large quantity of ammunition and a number of other items, which have been removed for forensic testing.
The suspects – seven men aged between 18 and 45, and a 23-year-old woman – are being held at the serious crime suite in Antrim.
The operation has been described as significant.
In the most recent dissident attack, three police officers were injured – including one seriously – in a grenade attack in west Belfast last week.
