Viable device found in Carrickfergus (U TV)
A security alert at Drumhoy Drive in Carrickfergus has ended following the removal of a ‘viable device’.
Army bomb experts were called to the scene on Thursday afternoon and a ‘viable device’ was found.
Police had evacuated a number of houses in the area.
Diversions have ended at Drumhoy Drive and Bridewell Drive as roads have since been reopened.
