UN DICIASSETTENNE ARRESTATO PER L’OMICIDIO CARROLL
E’ un giovane di diciassette anni il secondo uomo in stato di fermo per l’omicidio di Stephen Carroll, agente del PSNI ucciso in un agguato il 9 marzo scorso a Craigavon.
E’ accusato di possesso di arma da fuoco con l’intento di mettere a repentaglio la vita, di appartenenza alla Continuity IRA e di essere in possesso di informazioni di utilità per i terroristi. Apparirà oggi dinnanzi alla Lisburn Magistrates Court.
Youth charged with police constable’s murder (The Northern Echo)
A 17-year-old youth has been charged with the murder of Constable Stephen Carroll in Northern Ireland earlier this month.
Constable Carroll, 48, was shot dead as he answered a call for help in Craigavon, County Armagh, on Monday, March 9.
The 17-year-old is also charged with having a firearm with intent to endanger life and membership of a proscribed organisation, the Continuity IRA.
He will appear at Lisburn Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
He also faces a further charge of collecting information likely to be of use to terrorists
