Da una comunicazione di Italy32CSM pare essere iniziata una dirty protest nel settore E4 della prigione di Portlaoise. I prigionieri avrebbero iniziato questa protesta a causa di perquisizione ingiustificate di alcune celle avenute lo scorso week end.

It has been brought to my attention that the republican prisoners E4 landing have begun a dirty protest. The pows have been forced into this protest because of treatment received by the prison authorities. On saturday the special secure unit was brought in to search two cells on E4. The OC then went to the governor to ask for an explanation as to why the prisoners cells were searched. No such explanation was forth coming. More searches took place on sunday, which led to all prisoners on E4 banging on their door. Yet again no reasons were given as to why the searches took place. This all culminated in a decision by the political prisoners to commence a dirty protest, in the face of severe provocation and intimidation.
