The Five Demands

On Friday 6th May 2011 at 10pm republican prisoners started protest action against the failure of gaol admin/NIO to implement the 12th August 2010 agreement.
Since then they have been locked down under rule 7.
The sitation in Maghaberry continues to deteriate rapidly and last weekend seen the brutal unprovoked attack by the riot squad of POW Harry Fitzsimons. Harry has been left with many serious injuries and has not been given proper medical attention.
The Friends and Family of POWs in Maghaberry have organised a protest this Sunday 5th June at Maghaberry Gaol to highlight the situation and show the POWs some support.
