ALLARMI BOMBA NEL FERMANAGH
E’ continuata anche nella giornta di oggi la strategia degli allarmi bomba, che si sono susseguiti nella contea di Fermanagh.
Chiusa la strada principale di Lisnaskea e stato di allerta anche nei pressi di Newtownbutler con la chiusura della strada che collega il paese a Clones.
Pronta la dichiarazione di Arlene Foster del DUP, “Ciò dimostra chiaramente che vi sono persone malvagie che vogliono trascinare un’altra volta l’Irlanda del Nord nei sanguinosi e bui giorni del passato. Questi assassini non raggiungeranno il loro obiettivo, perché il popolo dell’Irlanda del Nord non permetterà loro di vincere.”
Dissidents blamed for bomb scare (Belfast Today)
Dissident republicans have been blamed for a bomb alert in Co Fermanagh.
The main street in Lisnaskea was sealed off was a period on Wednesday as security forces examined a suspicious object.
The alert was later deemed a hoax.
DUP MLA for the area, Arlene Foster, condemned the perpetrators and pointed the finger at republicans.
“This latest criminal behaviour is part of on-going dissident republican criminal activity in County Fermanagh,” she said.
“It demonstrates clearly that there are some twisted, evil people who want to drag Northern Ireland back to the dark and bloody days of the past. These murderers will not achieve their aim because the people of Northern Ireland will not allow them to win.”
An ongoing security alert is continuing in nearby Newtownbutler.
Meanwhile, a security alert on the Antrim Road in Belfast was also deemed a hoax on Wednesday. The thoroughfare was closed while a suspicious object was examined.
In west Belfast, a number of families were evacuated from their homes in the Falls Road area on Tuesday night after a suspicious device was reported at a service station.
