Il Segretario di Stato nordirlandese sta valutando la re-incarcerazione di Torrens Knight
Shaun Woodward sta in queste ore decidendo della sorte di Torrens Knight, uno dei responsabili del massacro di Greysteel.
L’uomo, infatti, era membro della banda dell’Ulster Freedom Fighters che entrò sparando all’impazzata sui presenti ad una festa di Halloween organizzata in un pub di Greysteel. Otto i morti.
Nel 200, dopo aver scontato sette anni di carcere, Knight venne rilasciato in base ai principi stabiliti dal Good Friday Agreement.
Shaun Woodward sta ora valutando la possibilità di revocare la precedente licenza di rilascio, dopo che ieri, Torrens Knight è stato condannato per l’aggressione di due sorelle in un bar di Coleraine, avvenuta lo scorso anno.

Northern Secretary Shaun Woodward is considering whether or not to send a man convicted in connection with the Greysteel massacre back to jail.
Torrens Knight was part of a UDA gang that burst into a pub during a Halloween party in October 1993 and sprayed gunfire at customers.
Eight people were killed in the attack.
Knight served seven years in prison before being released under the terms of the Good Friday Agreement in 2000.
However, Mr Woodward is now considering whether to revoke his early-release licence after he was convicted yesterday of attacking two sisters in a bar in Coleraine last year.
Knight is on bail awaiting sentencing for the offence.
