Colin Duffy, prominente repubblicano di Lurgan, sta per ricevere rassicurazioni sul fatto che le conversazioni tra lui ed i suoi avvocati avvenute durante la detenzione, non sono state ascoltate.
Il Prison Service ha infatti affermato che nessuna sorveglienza sui colloqui legali verrà utilizzata contro di lui.
Colin Duffy, al momento l’unico imputato per l’attentato alla base armata di Massereene, sta ritardando la richiesta di libertà su cauzionea causa delle incertezze che circondano la sue consultazioni.

A high-profile dissident republican accused of murdering two soldiers is to receive assurances that his legal consultations in custody are not being bugged.
Northern Ireland Prison Service lawyers confirmed Colin Duffy will be told no covert surveillance will be used against him.
Duffy, 41, from Lurgan, is charged with the double killing of Sappers Mark Quinsey and Patrick Azimkar outside an Army base in Antrim on March 7.
Duffy is also being held on five counts of attempted murder and possession of arms and ammunition.
He delayed a High Court bail application until it is confirmed no-one is listening in to conversations with his lawyer.
Duffy launched a judicial review case due to the uncertainty surrounding his consultations. A two-judge panel was told monitoring would be illegal.
