LE TARGHE DEL PSNI SU GOOGLE EARTH

Alcuni agenti del PSNI di Derry hanno espresso preoccupazioni sulla nuova versione di Google Earth.
Google Heart, già al centro delle critiche per alcune delle sue immagini riguardanti residenze private di politici e della clientela di negozi per adulti, è ora al centro dei timori della polizia, in quanto sarebbero visibili le targhe delle auto del PSNI. Tuttavia, fonti della sicurezza stanno cercando di ridimensionare la valenza del pericolo.

It’s thought that some PSNI officers in Derry have expressed security concerns over the latest version of Google.
The concerns centre on the fact that number plates of cars parked at PSNI stations are clearly visible on their Google Earth application.
Google Earth has already come under fire for some of its pictures, such as those of private residences of leading politicians and pictures of people leaving adult shops. However a security source played down the security fears of some local police officers stating: “What is presented on Google Maps is the same as what anyone would see if they walked past or drove past a police station.”
